The Villa

Large open plan area (76 sq mters) with security glass patio doors opening up overlooking the beach and sea on the North and the pool and terrace on the East. There is a main door to the south that opens up on the garden terrace and a further door to the west leading onto the driveway and maid’s house.

The kitchen area (18 sq meters) is fitted with an American style kitchen complete with appliances. The breakfast bar has recessed down-lighting. Rear door opening onto the shaded terrace. Feature central lighting.

Dining area with a solid marble table and six solid hardwood chairs. The dining table is positioned to benefit from the sea view and opens up onto the shaded terrace.

Lounge area is positioned to face the north east taking in the view of the Red Sea and the swimming pool. The access for telephone, TV and high speed internet are also in the north east corner. The doors open to the beach and the pool to provide that sea breeze throughout the area.

The roof of the villa shades the glass doors to keep the living space cool, however there are 2 x 5K Carrier split air-conditioning units that will not only provide cooling but can provide heat if required.

Beach

Fourty meters of private Red Sea frontage onto Sea Horse Bay which is a shallow bay known for its kite surfing. There is a coral reef out to sea and a sheltered lagoon.

The beach has six illuminated palm trees which all bear dates.

There is a terraced area with large wheeled barbecue and a shaded beach bar with basin with hot and cold water and a range of cupboards underneath, all set into granite worktop and the curved bar top is also in granite. Four bar stools.

There are three sunshades with wicker windbreaks and sun loungers.

Shaded Terrace

Overlooking the beach is the terrace with a low table and four chairs. This opens up fully to the lounge, dining and kitchen.

Pool Terrace

A 1.6 metre deep pool at one end and a metre at the shallow end. Granite pool surround and granite covered walls surrounding the terrace illuminated with recessed LED lighting.

Garden Terrace

This is a sheltered area that has a hardwood table and six hardwood chairs. There are also two sun loungers.

Gardens

The whole frontage of the villa to the road has a wall and hedging giving privacy. There is a Bougainville covered double glass and wrought iron doorway. The pavement is illuminated and there are trees and shrubs planted along the pavement. A sliding steel gate gives access to the covered driveway.

Entering the villa from the door to the right there is a lawned area and a cactus garden with a large monkey puzzle tree and other trees and shrubs.

The pathway ahead has some steps with inset lighting leading to the terraces.

To the left there is a lawned garden with mature trees and fruit trees. There is also the lined area towards the garage where washing can be dried.

Access to the driveway and the vehicles are behind a dwarf palisade fence.

If you access via the driveway there is parking for several vehicles in tandem and an underground water storage facility.

To the left on entrance from the driveway there is a service area with the water pumps and meter.

The Compound is a private compound consisting of 16 villas on a wide avenue with a central landscaped area complete with palm trees. The whole compound is illuminated and has a security entrance to the west and the shared beach to the east.

The Shared Beach

This beach is a large area with palm trees and sunshades. It belongs to the whole compound and if you wish to install your own sunshade you may but as you would have your own private beach there is little point of using the shared beach. Many of the other villas use the beach for kite surfing and there’s a villa at the shared beach that operates as a small hotel and serves food and drinks.

Local Amenities

Within the compound there is a small, boutique hotel with a restaurant open to non guests. There is also a kite school offering tuition and kiting services.

The local area is served with supermarkets, bakeries, shops and banks. There are restaurants, bars and coffee shops and delivery is available.
