Hurghada is on the west coast of the Red Sea. It’s just beyond the entrance to the Gulf Of Suez. The area is sheltered by islands as there is a shelf until the islands of Shadwan and Giftun where the water goes very deep.
The Red Sea is an Ocean as it separates the continents of Africa and Asia and it’s unique as there are no rivers supplying it.
